H.C. Ferro Chrome
H.C. Ferro Chrome, also known as High Carbon Ferro Chrome, is a vital ingredient in the production of stainless steel and other specialty alloys. Our H.C. Ferro Chrome comes in two forms: lumps and chips/fines. The lumps have a composition of 60-65% chromium (Cr), 3.0% maximum silicon (Si), 8.0% maximum carbon ©, and trace amounts of phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S). The chips/fines have a composition of 58-62% chromium (Cr), 4.0% maximum silicon (Si), 9.0% maximum carbon ©, and trace amounts of phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S). These varying compositions allow you to choose the most suitable form for your specific alloying requirements. Available in different sizes, such as 10-100mm or 10-150mm, with a minimum of 90% compliance, or tailored to your specifications, our H.C. Ferro Chrome guarantees the quality and consistency needed for your steel production.
